Left Boston just after midnight, changed planes in Iceland, and landed in Scotland around 2 PM. Took a taxi to our hotel, the driver was very friendly, informative, and he had no respect for Donald Trump, who also arrived in Great Britain today. After unpacking we walked to the nearby Kelvingrove Museum and Gallery which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Leaving the museum we walked back to our hotel, and rested for two hours. Our 25 minute walk to dinner took us through the beautiful Glasgow University campus, which was very quiet. I guess there must be a semester break.
Our dinner restaurant had a very traditional Scottish menu, but clearly haute cuisine. The food was incredible, we clearly ordered too much, including whisky, but it was we couldn't resist the temptation.
